a little late...

Well I'm very late to show christmas cards, and my friends would know by now that they didn't recieve one from my family, just couldn't get the time to make them, and it just didnt seem the same, I am now going to tell you my New Years efforts( some might call them resolutions)
;to make my christmas cards by october, and have them ready to send at the start of december.
;to blog more often(which shouldn't be too hard with my past efforts)
;to stop and take time to enjoy what is infront of me!
Merry Christmas and a Very Happy and safe New Year to you all !

wheely fun

Not so long ago I would have been saying ,that stampin around wheels were something I used occasionally!

Since Stampin Up! were giving them away free with coordinating stamp sets, I decided to take them up on this great offer, and now I'm a fan of the wheel, so I will be using them alot more, as they make a great background in no time!

I have used Nursery Letters here and cut out a few letters to Make the name Mia, as this card is for our friends granddaughter who has turned one! I have used it for our groups september colour challenge set by the very creative Tanja. The colours are Purley Pomergranate, Perfect Plum, Bashful Blue and River Rock and you had to try not to use a natural colour, I found that bit the hardest, lucky for one of my favorites River Rock. I was happy with the end result!

Till next time!

4 + 1 = 5

I have made this card for my good friend Kathleen and Family as they have just added a little baby boy ,Michael to there family. Lucky for me I get to have cuddles tonight when I visit her, and then hand him back and go home for a full nights sleep.( Although I have been up to my DS3 ,saying " mum, I'm freezing" . if only he would not wriggle around so much, and kick his doona off!)
kathleen now has 4 boys and 1 girl, I dont know where she finds the time to do all that she does.
The card is Stampin! up. Sage Shadow and Brocade Blue , Paisley backgroud stamp , silver hodgepodge with some patterned paper and rik rak.
Cheers

I must say.....

I must say, 'I really didn't think I had it in me to be able to set up a blog', to some this might seem a simple task, but to me very daunting, well I say to anyone who might read this, go for it..
How rewarding to be actually able to make contact with so many like minded people,Well OK it might only be people that I actually know who will read this for now, but who knows in time to come, I look forward to posting more......
